Painting with “the beagle”

Today was one of those “Grieving While LOL” days.  I decided to start a new project – painting my work area.  Sophie picked out the color and I really like it too.  I laid down my plastic drop cloth, put the ladder in place, got my paint brushes out and one paint roller now I’m ready to get started.  I had my camera in my pocket so I could take before and after pics.  Then………………here comes “the beagle” to inspect the paint.  I was already in tears because Jerry and I would have painted this room together but when I saw “the beagle” it made me LOL through my tears. By the end of the day Sophie had paint on three of her feet and one ear had paint on it.  We stopped painting around 8:30 – time for a shower and yes, “the beagle” will be the first one in the shower! We will continue our paint project tomorrow.  I’m sure there will be more photos lol.

She is too cute. She’s looking at the paint thinking what can I do with this. Sophie really makes you smile and raises your spirit.

Sophie must have been trying that new painting technique. It’s like sponge painting, but with dog paws. 🙂
