Perfect Sunday with my Sister Friends

Today was a good day!  I spent a wonderful afternoon/evening with my sister friends; Claudia and Shelli – both are remarkable women of faith. We laughed a lot and shared so many wonderful memories all afternoon.  Shelli lost her husband of over 30 years about a year ago.  Shelli shared her helpful insight with me regarding the grieving process. She assured me that the pain does get better with time.  The highlight of our day was enjoying a wonderful meal together; my famous gourmet cheeseburgers with all the trimmings and several bottles of great wine provided by Sis Claudia.  Speaking of Sis Claudia, she is recovering from major surgery and all thanks to GOD she is on the road to recovery and mending well.  I will look forward to many more enjoyable evenings with my sisters in Christ.  Thank you girls for making my Sunday fun.  Looking forward to many more awesome Sundays.  Stay Blessed my Sister’s.

P.S. Thanks Shelli for taking pics of our gourmet burgers….

Great Sunday evening with Josie Roed, local gourmet chef, caterer and the author of “The Roed to Good Cooking.” Gourmet burgers made from meat that Josie selects and grinds herself, all smothered in portobello mushrooms. Absolutely delicious!! We spent the evening enjoying her beautiful patio and great conversation with a little wine tasting thrown in for good measure. Shelli Hunt and I had a great time! Thanks Josie PS I highly recommend “The Roed to Good Cooking.” It’s one cookbook full of healthy, hardy recipes that anyone can follow regardless of your skill level in the kitchen.

Sis Claudia – I can’t open your links on Facebook. Probably because I no longer have a Facebook account.
