Gil’s Birthday Bash!

This weekend I catered my brother-in-law’s birthday bash. It was great spending quality time with my brother-in-law Gil, my big sister Pat, Gil’s brother Key, and his wife, Vanessa. When I was looking at all the photos, I started crying happy tears :-*) I remember thinking, “What a blessing looking at four people who have stayed married through all the ups and downs life had to offer. They are still together, stronger than ever and still in love!” Pat and Gil have been together for 39 years.

IMG_1926The menu was off the chart good! Here’s what I prepared for Gil’s Birthday Dinner Party; Jack Daniels Marinated Pork Chops, Cedar Planked Smoked Salmon, Roasted Rosemary Red Potatoes, Sautéed Green Beans with caramelized onions and fresh baked French bread. Salad Bar; Green leaf lettuce, organic red kale, sliced cucumbers, queen olives stuffed with pimientos, sliced red and green bell peppers, sweet onions. Our wine selection; Ferrari Carano-Fume’ Blanc, Ménage a’ Trios  California Red Wine.
