Awesome Christmas with My Grandbabies

This was the first Christmas I really felt like getting in the holiday spirit since Jerry’s passing.  I know he was looking down, cheering me on and was saying “Stay in the Christmas spirit babe for our grandbabies.”  Well, I am happy to report, I did just that.  I stayed in the Christmas spirit, decorated the house inside and outside and, I put up Christmas lights in the front of my house and the patio too!  My grandbabies from California didn’t arrive at my house until 4:00am Friday morning.  I left all of the Christmas lights on so they would see them when they pulled into the driveway.  When I got the call from my gate they had arrived, Sophie and I quickly went outside to greet them in the driveway.  We were met with lots of hugs and kisses from everyone.  There’s nothing better than warm hugs from your grandbabies! My youngest granddaughter, Kai (on the right), hung out in the kitchen with me most of the weekend.  She was the best little sous chef ever!  You know I took a ton of pictures and………I give all thanks to GOD for all the great memories I made with my grandbabies this past weekend!

Mike thanks so much for your kind words. YES I was surrounded by love and grandbabies who couldn’t give me enough hugs! My youngest grandson Urijah (aka Uri) kept coming into the kitchen and he would say, “Nani I want to give you a hug”…..and of course I would let him hug me for as long as he wanted to. It was really hard to say “good-bye” to everyone so I made everyone say, “see ya later Nani” lol. I hope you are having a blessed day and still enjoying the visit from your daughter. It’s nice to know my Jerry will meet YOUR Jerry. I’m sure they are chatting and sharing grandbaby stories right now ;o)) Take care my friend I’m sure we will be chatting in the New Year. Warm Blessings, Josie
